Willie went to New Orleans for a bachelor's party a couple of weeks ago and brought us back some original art. Here they are:
Willie met this artist at Jackson Square. He had several versions of this painting in different colors. He got this one thinking that the orange would work well in our place....and he was right! The color looks great. We have it up on the wall in the dining room, but I think it's too small on that wall. I might have it framed or add some complimentary art to go with it, but it's a cool original piece.
I put the little bird squares that he specifically got for me : ) above the sink. They're attached with velcro so I can also change their order if I feel so inclined. Velcro also made it very easy to line them up. If they're off a little than you just pull it off and place again or just nudge it a little. Sadly, we still don't like doing dishes but at least we have something pretty to look at when we do.
